It varies. But you may recognize some version of this:
The identity that carried you here — and what it may be costing you to keep carrying it
The creative life set aside in service of the practical one
The gifts you've been careful not to claim too loudly
The place where your work and your deeper nature have diverged
The question of legacy — what you're actually building, and for whom
A decision you've been circling for months that you can't quite see clearly
The next chapter forming at the edge of what you can currently see
What remains when the structures that once defined you are no longer enough
The transition you're standing in — a sale, a retirement, a career change — and what it's asking of you
The unique contribution you sense you're here to make — and how to name and claim it
A shared vision that needs to be renewed, deepened, or honestly renegotiated
A project or body of work that’s ready to be explored

Every session is different because every person is unique. We might spend time mapping where you are and what's pulling at you. We might work with a creative or reflective exercise. We might sit with a decision you've been circling for months and finally get underneath it. I don't follow a script or a curriculum. I follow you.
The goal is never to give you my answers. It's to help you access yours.
What I bring is thirty years of strategy work, nearly a decade of coaching practice, and a set of tools drawn from purpose work, depth psychology, and human development. What emerges is always specific to you.

Most coaches help you do more. This work is about figuring out what's worth doing. There's a difference — and at this point in your life, it's probably the only difference that matters.
Most coaches and consultants start with your outputs — your goals, your strategy, your performance. I start with you. Not because results don't matter — they do — but because the real obstacle is rarely a missing strategy. It's a missing clarity about who you are and what you're actually here to do.
We get to the practical. We just don't start there.

Emergence is a six-month, one-on-one engagement. We meet up to eight times over six months — roughly every three weeks — each session 90 minutes. Between sessions I offer reflective assignments and creative practices attuned to where you are. You also have access to me between sessions — quick questions by text or email, and Loom video responses for anything that needs more depth.
The pace is intentional. Meeting every three weeks gives the work room to land — time to sit with what emerged, tend to the reflections/exercised, and come back ready to go deeper.

Leaders, executives, coaches, therapists, and creatives who have built something significant and are ready to find out what's next. People who are ready to go deep, reflect honestly, and do work that gets to the ground of things.
If you want someone to hand you a plan and tell you what to do, I'm probably not the right fit. If you're ready for something more honest than that — you're in the right place.

No. But the work can be therapeutic. We're focused on where you are now and where you're headed, not on processing the past. That said, this work goes deeper than most coaching. You should come ready for real honesty and genuine reflection. Many of the people I work with are also in therapy, or have been. The two aren't in conflict.

The six-month Emergence engagement is $1,200 per month, billed monthly. I ask that you review the FAQ and pricing before we connect — not to create a barrier, but to make sure our time together is well spent.

Yes. The same questions that bring individuals to this work show up in organizations too — a leadership team that has lost the thread of why they built what they built, a founding partnership that has grown apart in vision or values, a group of senior leaders trying to figure out what they're actually building and for whom.
I work with small teams — typically three to eight people — to help them reconnect with the purpose and values at the center of their work, and to align around what comes next.
These engagements are bespoke and priced accordingly. If you're interested, reach out and we'll talk.

I’m based on a blueberry farm in Maine. I work primarily by video with people all over the world.

Wonderful. That's what the introductory call is for. No pressure — just a conversation to see if this is the right fit.
